When a customer places an order for an item from your kitchen, you will be alerted with a text message to your phone and will have to follow the steps below to "accept" the order.
Please Note: You will be using the Retool Cook App to process your order
Accepting Orders: check out the steps below!
1. Open and sign in to your Retool Cook App. Starting from your home page, you'll see four tabs along the bottom of the page, Orders, Today, Earnings, and Settings.
2. The Orders tab which is also your home page, shows you all your orders including those that are new, completed, rejected already. Select any that are marked new.
3. Once you've selected a new order, you'll see the order details and the option to "accept" or "reject" the order. We recommend you accept or reject orders right as the come in as opposed to waiting until they're due.
Processing Orders: check out the steps below!
1. Open and sign in to your Retool Cook App. Starting from your home page, you'll see four tabs along the bottom of the page, Orders, Today, Earnings, and Settings.
2. Select the Today tab from the bottom of your home page. Here you'll see all orders that are due for delivery today. These include As Soon As Possible orders that have been placed today as well as Pre-Orders placed earlier in the week that are now due today.
3. Select an order that you are ready to begin working on by clicking on the order.
4. If you haven't done so yet, "accept" the order.
5. Once you accepted the order, you'll have the opportunity to manually enter a prep time. You'll want to make sure you enter the time you anticipate your order be ready for pick up by a driver. So if you enter 30 minutes, that means that your order will be ready, packed, and sitting waiting for a driver to pick it up at the 30 minute mark.
6. Once you've entered your prep time, select Start Prep and Schedule Pickup.
7. Once our delivery partner is 5 minutes away, we will notify you via text message.
8. After the order has been prepared, packed, and picked up by a driver, select Order Complete to move the order into the list of completed orders.
